Everyone Has The Same Issues - Thomas Mondel

Everyone Has The Same Issues

Whenever you are facing a difficult situation in your life and you feel powerless and maybe do not know what to do next, think about this: Everybody has the same issues and challenges.

There is nobody who is excluded of being afraid of something, of having to face fear, not knowing what will happen to them in the future. It is universal. There is also a old saying which says: “the more special you think your problem is, the more universal it might be” and I find it to be quite true.

Isn’t it great to know that whenever you feel challenged and experience immense fear before an important decision in your life, that every other person would feel the same?

There is only one difference in the people, and that is how they handle this scenario. There are people who take on the challenge and keep moving forward, and there are people who try to back off, because they believe that this is the “safer” option. But I can assure you, the “riskier” option is always the safer one too and the “safer” one is actually the one with the bigger consequences. These people still feel the emotions arising but they take some action anyways because they see the bigger picture and want more out of life.

Think about it for a moment: Do you believe that it is “safer” to stay in a relationship that is not the perfect fit for you, just because you don’t want to risk being alone for a while?
